Artemis General Assembly

The European Liver Patients’ Association (ELPA) participated in the ARTEMIS General Assembly on January 22 and 23, 2026, bringing together partners from across Europe to review progress, exchange expertise, and shape the next phase of collaborative work. The General Assembly provided an important opportunity to reflect on achievements to date, align on strategic priorities, and strengthen cooperation among research, clinical, and patient organisations involved in the project. Discussions focused on advancing innovation, improving data generation, and ensuring that research outcomes translate into meaningful improvements for patients. ELPA actively contributed to the discussions, reinforcing the importance of embedding the patient perspective throughout all stages of research and implementation. Patient engagement remains essential to ensuring that scientific progress addresses real needs, improves access, and supports better health outcomes across Europe. Through its continued involvement in ARTEMIS, ELPA reaffirms its commitment to collaborative European initiatives that strengthen research, innovation, and patient-centred care in liver disease.
