For the first time, patient communities representing liver disease, obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease are joining forces to confront a shared public health crisis.
These chronic conditions are biologically and socially interconnected, compounding their impact on individuals and health systems across Europe. Each is worsened by stigma, delayed diagnosis, fragmented care, and inadequate access to effective treatment—yet policy responses remain siloed. Today, these communities speak with one voice to urge integrated strategies that prioritise prevention, timely diagnosis, effective treatment, and long-term management—because addressing one means addressing all in this call to action.
