ELPA Extraordinary General meeting in Barcelona

In Barcelona on 2nd December an ELPA Extraordinary General meeting was held.

ELPA members needed to vote and adopt new ELPA’s Statutes. Indeed, in accordance with the provisions of the new Belgian Code of Companies and Associations, ELPA Statutes has been reviewed also with the collaboration of Belgian professionals for NGO Statutes and Belgian law. After ELPA President Marko Korenjak presenting the new ELPA Statutes stressing the important point of delivering a clear text that everybody can understand, is in line with new Belgian law, in line with international law for non-profit association and we all agree on. After several hours of voting on different parts of the new text of the ELPA Statutes and consulting with the Belgian expert over the internet, all present ELPA members voted in favour of the new Statutes This Extraordinary General meeting was the occasion to gather together reflecting on our association and pushing forward our work.
