ESPGHAN 2025

ELPA actively participated in the ESPGHAN Congress 2025, held from May 21 to 24, 2025. The congress, organised by the European Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, served as a key platform for sharing the latest research, clinical advances, and collaborative efforts in paediatric liver and digestive health. During the event, ELPA representatives engaged in meaningful exchanges with clinicians, researchers, and other stakeholders, emphasising the critical role of patient and caregiver perspectives in shaping paediatric hepatology care. ELPA highlighted the specific needs of children living with liver diseases and their families, including the importance of early diagnosis, psychosocial support, and the transition from paediatric to adult care. By contributing to panel discussions and networking sessions, ELPA reinforced its commitment to improving outcomes for young liver patients and advocating for more inclusive, patient-centred approaches within paediatric healthcare systems across Europe. Their presence at ESPGHAN 2025 helped strengthen partnerships and raise awareness of the challenges faced by families navigating paediatric liver conditions.
