EUPATI Patient Expert Training Programme

In October 2025 in Madrid, EUPATI held the final in-person stage of its Patient Expert Training Programme for Cohort 8, bringing together more than 100 participants from over 40 countries to conclude the year-long blended curriculum.

Throughout the intensive workshops and collaborative sessions on clinical development, regulatory processes, health-technology assessment, and patient engagement, participants strengthened their ability to contribute meaningfully to medicines research and innovation. The event culminated in the official graduation of the new EUPATI Fellows — including two representatives from ELPA, who successfully completed the programme and joined the growing network of trained patient experts across Europe. ELPA’s participation underscored its commitment to fostering knowledgeable, empowered patient advocates capable of influencing research, policy, and better health outcomes for liver patients.
