On February 11 and 12, 2025, The Ministry of Health of Slovenia organised a pivotal two-day gathering dedicated to the newly implemented HTA Regulation and its implications for health technology assessment across Member States. The event brought together policymakers, healthcare professionals, researchers, and industry leaders to discuss the future of HTA in a rapidly evolving landscape. Throughout the event, participants had the opportunity to engage in high-level discussions and interactive workshops. Key topics included innovations in HTA methodologies, evidence-informed decision-making and strategies for implementing HTA Regulation into healthcare systems. In addition, the discussions focused on practical applications of HTA, including early assessments and lifecycle approaches, evidence-based decision-making in healthcare organisations, Rapid Relative Effectiveness Assessments and HTAR Joint Clinical Assessments. This event was designed to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among stakeholders, providing a platform to share best practices and explore new opportunities in HTA. ELPA President Marko Korenjak was part of the final panel discussion on the Future of HTA and the key opportunities ahead.
