
Paris MASH Meeting 2024
Several representatives from the European Liver Patients’ Association (ELPA) participated in the Paris NASH Meeting, which took place on September 5 and 6, 2024. At this highly anticipated event, focused on MASH and liver health, ELPA presented a poster on the success of the European Liver Screening Week 2023. The poster highlighted the outcomes and key findings of the screening initiative, emphasising the importance of early detection and raising awareness about liver diseases, including MASH, across Europe. Also, SOS Hepatites, an ELPA member from France, presented a poster on their activities in the field of Fatty Liver. ELPA’s participation underscored their commitment to patient advocacy and education, aiming to improve liver health outcomes through preventive measures and screenings. During the meeting, ELPA also engaged with healthcare professionals, researchers, and other patient advocacy groups, fostering collaborations essential to advancing liver disease awareness and treatment. Their presence at the Paris MASH Meeting showcased ELPA’s leadership in promoting liver health initiatives. It reinforced the critical role of patient organisations in driving early diagnosis and comprehensive care strategies.
