ELPA SLD Clinical Trials Programme 2023 – second part
In November 2023, the second edition of the ELPA SLD Clinical Trials Programme came to an end, and eight representatives of ELPA members successfully finished the training.
The second part was held in Malta, and like the first edition, some lectures of the second module focused specifically on pharmacology. A session was also dedicated to medical ethics and bioethics with a focus on clinical research and ethics committees. In addition, a lecture was dedicated to the change of the name of the disease and the new nomenclature. ELPA also organised a meeting with a representative of the Malta Medicines Authority and an EMA PRAC member to explain the patient-reported ADRs systems.
